Dr.Ph. Martin's Pen-White -
Dr. Ph. Martin’s Pen White is an opaque, pigment based, non-spreading, matte after dry, archival grade, very covering, non-waterproof, ultra-fine white ink, ideal for writing and lettering purposes. It can be used for covering up mistakes in dye colours, markers, and designer colours. It is also capable of uber-thin upstrokes, which can be tough to achieve with other, thicker white inks. This bright white ink is perfect for adding highlights to drawings and illustrations.
- It can be used in technical pens with a tip size of 0.25 mm or larger, as well as with brushes, dip pens, and airbrushes. It works well on black and dark-coloured papers, blueprints, and untreated acetate sheets.
- Dr. Ph. Martin’s Pen White is available in a 1.0 oz (30 ml) glass bottle with a dropper. This liquid product delivers the same brightness and permanency of traditional watercolours in tubes, but is much more versatile and easy to use. It is recommended not to use this ink in fountain pens.
- Before applying, stir the ink with a stirrer as it might settle down. While using with a dip pen, if the ink seems to be too thick for use, add 3-5 drops of water. And stir the surface of the liquid until a heavy cream-like consistency is reached.
- If it still refuses to leave the nib, dilute it with a bit more water. On the contrary if it gets too diluted, let it settle down for some time with the lid open to allow some water to evaporate out, then try again. Clean the tools with water before and after use.
